With over +35 years of combined experience, our team brings deep expertise in both residential and commercial design.
We specialize in luxury home renovations, new construction, and thoughtfully planned additions, as well as commercial interiors for restaurants, multifamily developments, and medical facilities.
Every project is approached with care, creativity, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Our
Founder
Christopher Sloan graduated from the prestigious Purdue University in 2014 with a degree in Interior Design. Shortly after, he began his career as an interior design specialist with Arhaus Furniture in Lincoln Park, Chicago.
He later relocated to Sarasota, Florida, to pursue a promotion in the industry. Over the following years, Christopher held multiple roles at the largest interior design firm in Sarasota, working on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and multifamily projects.
In 2021, he founded Built On Design to offer clients a broader suite of services, including commercial and residential interior design, on-site supervision, coordination with outside design teams, and drafting services.
Christopher is a licensed interior designer in the State of Florida, a license holder with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Built On Design is fully licensed and insured.
